HydGene's Biocatalyst

Our proprietary biocatalyst converts biomass into high-purity green hydrogen. It comes encapsulated in beads that make it easy to store and transport.

The biocatalyst is feedstock agnostic, incredibly robust, and produces hydrogen continuously. It generates high-value co-products that complement the H2 in industrial processes – you can learn more about their use cases here

A Modular, On-Site System

The biocatalyst is deployed via stackable cartridges that can be scaled to meet demand. This system integrates into existing processes to produce hydrogen when and where it’s needed.

The Process

Biomass Feedstocks

Our biocatalyst is biomass agnostic, allowing us to tap into low-cost feedstocks anywhere. The biocatalyst has been tested with 130+ feedstocks, from straw stubble to sewage to spent grain and more.
