HydGene Renewables was proud to have our CEO and Founder, Dr Louise Brown, present at the NSW Office of the Chief Scientist & Engineer’s Breakfast Seminar with her talk “Redefining Chemical Industries: Biocatalysis for Sustainable Manufacturing.”
Thanks to everyone who joined the impressive early-morning turnout.
From the first discovery during a student project through to today’s scale-up and commercialisation, Louise shared the full journey of HydGene’s biocatalyst technology. The presentation offered a powerful overview of both the science and the vision driving our mission to decarbonise hard-to-abate sectors such as green ammonia, methanol, and sustainable aviation fuel.
What attendees said:
“Inspiring from lab to impact story. [...] A great example of how collaborative investment drives clean-tech innovation and accelerates our path to Net Zero.” - Thomas Gao, Office of the NSW Chief Scientist & Engineer.
“Inspiring morning at the NSW Science & Research Breakfast Seminar! It was fantastic to attend the Office of the NSW Chief Scientist & Engineer’s breakfast seminar this morning, featuring a brilliant talk from Louise Brown of HydGene Renewables. Dr Brown shared how they’re using synthetic biology to generate green hydrogen – a powerful example of how cutting-edge science can drive real-world impact.” Anthony Granville, Harrison SPARC Pty Ltd
