HydGene Renewables has advanced to the finals of the International Fertilizer Association (IFA) Cultivate Challenge, joining just 13 startups from more than 100 global applicants.

Recognised in the decarbonisation of ammonia and nitrogen fertiliser production category, HydGene is reimagining how agricultural residues like straw can be transformed into carbon-negative green hydrogen — creating value from waste while reducing emissions in a critical global industry.
From semi-finalist to finalist, this milestone reflects the growing recognition of HydGene’s innovation and impact potential. We look forward to engaging with the fertiliser industry, building new connections, and sharing our progress at regional events leading to the grand final at the IFA Cultivating Tomorrow Conference in 2026.
