Louise and Kerstin attend AgriFutures EvokeAG 2023 event in Adelaide
Our co-founders, Louise and Kerstin, were impressed by the 1000+ turnout and delivery of the evokeAG 2023 event held in Adelaide this February, which was probably one of the most exciting events we have participated in lately. Titled ‘Down to Earth’, the event brought together the entire agrifood ecosystem, including farmers, innovators, researchers, corporates, government, and investors, into one (albeit very hot!) location. The organisers did not disappoint, and the myriad of different talks were extremely relevant and diverse. Can’t wait until the next evokeAg event!
Our personal highlights included two events. Firstly, an eye-opening panel discussion on carbon credits on the farm, which featured Greg Butler from Clean Carbon Pty Ltd and SANTFA, Stuart Austin from Wilmot Cattle Co, Dr Nicole Buckley Biggs from AgriWebb, amongst others. Secondly, a lively and controversial panel discussion on SynBio: transforming agriculture one cell at a time, which featured Natalie Curach from Ginkgo Bioworks, Michele Stansfield from Cauldron Molecules, Lisa C Ronquest-Ross from V2food, and George Peppou from Vow.
